Niceville UMC is located on the Emerald Coast of northwest Florida in a family friendly and military community. This position for Director of AudioVisual Ministries is available for the right applicant who has a proven history of large church AVL experience and a heart for God to excellently communicate to this generation in its language. We have 5 Sunday services currently and continue to experience steady growth with our over 2000 in attendance. 3 services are contemporary and 2 are traditional. We have state of the art projection, audio and lighting, as well as several great venues. This position covers all AVL aspects on the entire church campus and has responsibilities over all events that require multimedia elements. Over 40 volunteers currently serve in this area of ministry.
Production of creative in-house videos are the norm, as well as creating screen and print graphics for new message series. Audio design and mixing would be the applicant's better skill in this multi-faceted job, along with maintenance of all systems. This is a full time position in a very busy, effective and healthy church environment. A high degree of communication and scheduling skills are needed for this position, as well as impeccable Christian character that loves Jesus first and volunteers almost as much. We are looking for a long term individual who can display a similar history. Interpersonal skills would be needed as well.
