Job Description:
Centenary Church, a vibrant, Bible-teaching/believing Church Family/Family Church, in Modesto, CA, seeks a dynamic Contemporary Worship Leader or Lead Musician for full-time or part-time. This person will plan & carry out 2 contemporary services each weekend, lead our 2 worship teams, and work closely with the Senior Pastor & Associate Pastor to plan & carry out weekly worship opportunities. The full-time position will also include a second ministry area TBA, (approximately 10 of the 40 hours each week) based upon the giftedness of the individual. (Possible secondary ministry areas could include: Missions, Assistant in Youth Ministry, Technology...) Full-time role includes benefits.
Qualifications include: A vital Christ-centered personal faith & practice, a teachable heart, high skill level in guitar or piano/keyboard. Ability to lead others in contemporary worship, and ability to work well with volunteers. Strong verbal & written communication skills.
