Do you want to be a significant part of a movement to transform rural America? Do you long to see lives changed by Jesus every week? Does it excite you to think about ways to take risks, maximize participation, and use multiple forms of media to lead people into worship? Hidden Valley is a young, fast growing, multi-site church looking for the right leader to join our team. With over 700 regular attendees at two locations, we're looking for an experienced leader who has a heart for the unchurched and a growing love for God. Ideal candidates need to be comfortable developing and leading a band that does very contemporary music and occasionally mixes in a secular song that fits the theme for the day. We love to redeem secular songs and use them to gain the attention of our unchurched friends. Ideal candidates should have the following qualities:
*A growing love for God and a track record of modeling the spiritual disciplines *A willingness to do all they can to reach the unchurched while helping followers of Jesus increase their love for God and people *A track record of good leadership *A passion to learn and grow *The ability to make sure the administrative elements of planning a worship service are carried out from start to finish *A strong work ethic *A passion to keep us on the cutting edge musically *A proven track record of recruiting volunteers *A willingness to learn & use new technology *A willingness to take risks, experiment and try new things to increase our impact *A passion for continuous improvement *A strong team player *Sense of humor required *Must be willing to live in rural Wisconsin and it snows here
This is a full-time salaried position. The salary is generous and will fit your experience.
