Purpose: To lead and organize church operations, either directly or
through supervision and coordination with staff and volunteersFunction: Responsibilities include supervision of church facilities, management of human resources, and maintenance of church calendar and events. The candidate should have the ability to supervise the work of others, develop and implement policies, and analyze operational protocol.
The candidate should have the ability to determine the appropriate
course of action in emergency and/or stressful situations. S/he must
communicate effectively both one-on-one and in small groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Human Services or related field
Five years managerial or supervisory experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Mastery of Windows 2000, Microsoft Office 2000 (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint) PageMaker, Outlook, E-Mail, Schedule Plus, and a willingness to learn new technology

Responsibilities in the following areas include but are not limited to:
Human Resources
1. Draft job descriptions, evaluation models and improvement opportunities
2. Assess, develop, and place employees into permanent vacated positions
3. Develop job descriptions and administer the hiring process
4. Manage the development, execution, and evaluation of human resource information
5. Maintain a high level of interaction with staff to ensure a supportive working environment
6. Prepare writing assignments involving policy and procedures
Facilities
1. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the building
2. Coordinate, plan and schedule all general maintenance projects
3. Schedule contract vendors during projects and ensure that their schedules are maintained
4. Ensure that all employees are working safely
5. Maintain a seasonal work plan and upkeep for the building
6. Develop emergency procedures and provide immediate intervention in emergency situations
