Elizabeth Baptist Church, a dynamic ministry with multiple campuses in the Atlanta area, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Children's Ministry Director that desires to use their talent and gifts to leave a legacy that leaves a mark on eternity. The ideal candidate must be a servant leader someone who looks at leadership as an act of service. This person must be an effective communicator, sound teacher and demonstrate the love, character and power of God. Also, the Children's Director must lead and conduct weekly children services, Bible study, and devotions for the overall development of the young person. The Children's Ministry Director is responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive effective children's ministry that connects children and their families to Jesus, the community of the church, and to each other.

Duties include, but are not limited to, vision and curriculum development for Sunday school, Wednesday night programming and various other activities throughout the year, clerical tasks related to the ministry, and recruitment and training of volunteers (including the nursery staff). A degree in Christian Education or a Master's of Divinity is preferred. Previous experience as a director or assistant director of Children's Ministry is a must. The position is a full-time, 40 plus hour a week position within the Discipleship Division of Elizabeth Baptist Church. The ideal candidate must have a successful and verifiable work history of at least 2-5 years.
