Senior Pastor Position at North Coast Presbyterian Church
NCPC is an established Presbyterian church located in the North County Coastal area of San Diego. NCPC inspires, affirms, and equips individuals to be devoted followers of Christ through Biblical teaching, worship, adult, youth, children, lay ministry, and small groups.

The Pastor at NCPC shall be a vibrant and dynamic speaker. Sermons will blend historical and real world application of the Bible while preaching the Word enthusiastically. This biblically based teacher will have a gift of communication from the pulpit. In addition, he will be a good listener and take time to understand the needs of the congregation and individuals.
We seek a Pastor that has strong and proven leadership skills. He shall be effective mentoring and motivating the staff, volunteers and congregation. The Pastor will be a consensus builder, raising up leaders and empowering church staff. He will encourage and foster healthy relationships through servant leadership. These leadership skills will build a strong body and help attract and retain talented staff.
The Pastor at NCPC shall love, serve, relate and communicate well to people of all ages in the congregation. With a shepherd's heart he will reach out to the community of believers and non-believers. He shall relate to well versed Christians and new bible students.
Our Pastor shall have character that models grace with truth, forming a person of high integrity and moral purity. The individual will be easy to approach, have excellent one on one communication skills and be accessible to the congregation. The Pastor will have a good sense of humor, a warm personality, be transparent, demonstrate humility and be even tempered. He will be able to counsel and help folks in private matters and keep them in confidence.
Our former Pastor who started the church 25 years ago recently stepped down. During this transition NCPC has been blessed in many ways. While attendance numbers have declined we honor the fact that God uses even difficult circumstances to enrich the lives of those he has called and to refine our church community.
