Director of Children's Ministry in Enterprise Alabama FUMC, Home of Army Aviation, Southern Hospitality, and 80 miles from the World's most beautiful beaches. Basic Qualifications
1. have a caring attitude,excellent people skills,the ability to be accessible,responsive, and flexible to handle the changing needs of the church 2. be equipped with the teaching and nurturing skills to develop the children of the church in the ministry and mission of the church. 3. provide leadership and vision to the overall program development, coordination,implementation, and direction to staff and volunteers who are committed to discipling and shepherding children ages Birth - 6 grade. 4. effectively present the Scripture to enable children to grow in their understanding and application of the Word of God. 5. oversee children's Sunday School, Nursery, MDO preschool program, and Wonderful Wednesday program, Children's Church. 6. prepare and properly administer Children's Ministry budget 7. have strong knowledge of the inner-workings of FUMC and be able to coordinate the efforts of each ministry and or work area. 8. provide and manage adequate number of trained staff, volunteers and resources to carry out programs for children ages Birth-6 grade. 9. exhibit a deep Christian commitment and caring,approachable demeanor as a spiritual leader and mentor for other church families.
