Job Description:
This Senior Associate Pastor position will "lead from the second chair" in Willow Creek Association terms. Using proven leadership gifts, the pastor will equip the congregation to do ministry as opposed to doing ministry himself. This includes recruiting, equipping, deploying and supporting leaders and teams. He will need to be administratively and financially experienced and able to lead because of leadership capabilities not necessarily specific ministry experience.
This position will have responsibility and authority for all ministry operations, processes and policies that execute the vision of the church as formulated by the Elders and Senior Pastor. The ideal candidate will have a history of effective multiplication, able to recruit by vision casting, and lead with an emphasis on discipleship.
